Ministry of Justice and Supreme Judiciary Council Finalize Electronic Connection Measures

In this occasion, Mr. Khamis Mohamed Al Kuwari, Assistant Under-Secretary for Common Services Affairs at the Ministry, while chairing the second meeting to discuss the connection procedures with the team of the Investment and Trade Court, stated that the procedures serve the general inclination of the State of Qatar towards the E-justice system and help facilitate the litigation procedures, prompt justice, and reduce the strenuous activities of litigants.
He added that, as per directives of HE Mr. Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi, Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs a technical team has been formed to accomplish the electronic connection requirements and develop the appropriate legal frameworks and manuals to comprehensively share services, in which the functions of each Entity are clearly identified, in addition to appointing focal points in the Ministry and the Court, in order to fully optimizing the service quality afforded to all users.
The connection system provides many benefits, mainly time efficiency since transactions between the two entities have been consuming much time. For fostering transparency and attracting investments to the Country, the system facilitates the accomplishment of transactions for the Courts visitors, namely investors and traders through creating an environment facilitating litigation procedures and disputes settlement. Additionally, the connection system offers immediate e-query about the real estate property relevant to the Court’s case system, ensures accuracy and confidentiality in executing the procedures rendered by the Judicial rulings, and validates personal and real estate data through integrating the systems of relevant government entities.
